What Are Clear Aligners?

These aligners are made of a strong plastic material and are custom-made to fit a patient’s mouth. Your orthodontist will give you a series of aligners that are meant to be worn in a designated order. You’ll wear each one for two weeks until moving onto the next set.

For the aligners to reach their maximum effectiveness, you’ll need to wear them for about 20 to 22 hours a day, only taking them out for eating, cleaning your teeth, and important occasions.
